Polly Nix Porter Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Polly Nix Porter of Valley, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cerell Nix and Louise Nix; her sisters, Tamara Nix, Susan Crane and Jane Franks; and her dachshund Daisy Mae.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Porter; her children, Ansley Conway (Zachery) and Colby Conway (Taylor); her grandchildren, Ryland, Annaleigha, Axel, Kolbie, Elizabeth and Tamsley; and her siblings, Iva Sanders (Kenneth), Miriam Lewis (Barry), Amy Nessmith (David) and Myron Nix (Elizabeth). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews; and her dog.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854).
