He is survived by: his children, Lamar Murphy (Cindy), Gale Moody, Travis Murphy (Teresa), Diane Martin, Linda Evert (Billy) and John Martin (Misty). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.
