She was predeceased by : her father Boyd Lee Cates; her husband Preston Lynn; her son Rod; her daughter-in-law Paula Bramblett; and her brothers, Timothy Cates and Mike Cates.

She is survived by : her son Brad Lynn of Valley, Alabama; her grandchildren, Shelby Bramblett, Joshua Bramblett, Holly Lynn and Susannah Lynn; and her sister-in-law Lynn Cates.
