With sadness, we share the passing of Willie Franklin Hartley of Valley, Alabama. Willie, born on April 24, 1944, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hartley and Frank Sr. Hartley; his wives, Mary Moncrief Hartley of Valley and Jackie Tillery Hartley of Valley; and his sister Gale Chance of South Florida.
He is survived by: his son Maxon "Gene" Hartley of Valley; his stepson Terrell Barrington (Christy) of Beulah; his niece Wanda Freeland (Robert) of Orange Beach; his nephews, Buddy Maddox (Paula) of Beulah, Ben, Tim, Mike Hood of Louisiana and Americus; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cliff Maddox of California, Andrew Maddox (Summer) of Auburn and Vanna Johnson (Brandon) of Auburn; and his caregiver Judy McManus. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
