He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Kersey and Signora Amundson Kersey; his son Richard Kersey Jr.; and his former wife Connie Kersey. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbie Smith (Lee Smith) and Dr. Deborah Dangar (David Dangar); and his grandchildren, Jarrod Kersey, Bert Smith, Luke Smith, Reese Kersey, Ross Kersey and Rhett Kersey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wesconnett Church of Christ for the mission work that Richard was passionate about.
