He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Watson and Beulah Watson; his siblings, Billy Ray Watson, Donald Watson, Chirstine Manfre, Linda Knight and Alice Aderholt; and his great grandchild Tyler Rhett Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Watson; his son John Watson (Sheila); his siblings, Marion Watson (Rebecca) and Catherine "Honey" Parker; his grandsons, Tyler Watson (Karleigh) and Brad Watson (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Colten Sipe, Hudson Watson, Houston Watson, Henlee Watson and Kennedi Watson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
