She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence Smitherman and Ellar Mae Braswell Smitherman; and her husband Cecil Wayne Scott. She is survived by: her sons, Jody J. Scott (Terra) of Thorsby and Dennis W. Scott (Amanda) of Calera; her grandchildren, Jesse W. Scott, Madison N. Scott and Gavin N. Scott; and her brother Johnny Smitherman (Linda) of Maplesville.
