He was predeceased by: his parents, F. J. Thomas and Cora Thomas; and his brother Silas Thomas. He is survived by: his sister Rubye Thomas Jones (Chester); his nephew Ronnie Jones (Ester) of Clanton; his great-niece Heather Cummings (Kevin) of Opelika; his great-nephew Brian Jones (Megan) of Clanton; Jake Cummings, John Conner Cummings, Ben Jones, Cam Jones and Ian Jones.
