She was predeceased by : her parents, Rueben Cleckler and Mary Lee Collins Cleckler; her son L. J. Patterson; her brothers, Horace R. Cleckler and Lamar Cleckler (Frank Coshatt); and the father of her children Tommie Patterson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sue P Dobbs (Joe) and Dianne Bice; and her sisters-in-law, Gail Cleckler and Yvonne Cleckler. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 18 Great-Great Grandchildren.
