He was predeceased by: his parents, Kager Perkins and Flaudie Perkins (Woods); his wife Charlene Perkins (South); his grandson Jacob Perkins; and his siblings, Willie Gene Perkins and Eula Mae Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Perkins (Stacey) of Vernon, AL, Janet Allen (Tony) of Vernon, AL and Tina Redus (Tim) of Vernon, AL; his grandchildren, Ashley Fitch (Jason), Amber Head (Brian), Isaac Whittle (Justina), Justin Perkins (Courtney), Daniel and Luke Redus; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Fitch, Kinleigh Fitch, Sara Beth Huff, Grant Huff, Anna Kate Huff, Elijah Whittle, Lawson Perkins, Bryleigh Perkins, Tatum Perkins and Layla Kate Perkins; his sister Evelyn Duckworth of Vernon, AL; and his sister-in-law Lois Perkins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church (18154 Co Rd 49, Vernon, AL 35592). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
