With sadness, we share the passing of Charlotte Owsley of Vernon, Alabama. Charlotte, born on January 4, 1947, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard A. Gross, Sr. and Elizabeth Riley Gross; and her husband Johnny Leonard Owsley, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Owsley, Jr. (Lezlie) of Nashville, TN and Emily Owsley Williams (Justin) of Tuscaloosa, AL; her grandchildren, Jack Glyien Williams, Levi Craig Owsley and Emmaline Christine Williams; and her siblings, Elizabeth G. Vickery, Christina Lynn Gross and Willard Andrew Gross, Jr..
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home (8901 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
