He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rector and Iva Mae Graham Rector; and his brother Doyle Rector. He is survived by: his wife Lavola Rector of Vernon, AL; his sons, Greg Rector (Teresa) of Baindrige Island, WA and David Rector (Catherine) of Franklin, TN; his grandchildren, Tara Blake (Jim) of Northport, AL, Christopher Rector of Hermitage, TN, Jackson Rector (Delaney) of Brentwood, TN. and Mary Helen Gadke (Lukas) of Brentwood, TN.; and his great grandchildren, Ruby, Graham and Poppy.
