He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Cantrell and Vera Cantrell (Loggins); his wife Jo Ann Cantrell; and his brothers, C. H. Cantrell, Youell Cantrell, Kenneth Cantrell and Bobby Cantrell.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Jackson Cantrell (Teresa) of Vernon, AL; his grandchildren, Toshia Lucas (Kyle) of Vernon, Todd Cantrell (Jana) of Vernon and Tucker Cantrell (Katie) of Vernon; and his great grandchildren, Asher, Abygail Lucas, Ansley Jo, Avery, Jake Cantrell, Jackson and Riley Cantrell.
