She was predeceased by: her parents, Azzie Morris and Lea Morris of Winfield, AL.; her husband Henry Winston Benton; and her siblings, Marlyse Reed, Jimmie Lou Pierce and Grant Morris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Robertson (Jerry) of Vernon, AL and Jennifer Pennington (Keith) of Vernon, AL; her grandchildren, Bridget Matthews (Michael) of Vernon, AL, Scott King (Cynthia) of Vernon, AL, Janna Foster (Nathan) of Winfield, AL, Kaley Murry (Brett) of Lenexa, KS and Luke Pennington (Amalia) of Cedar Hill, TX; and her great grandchildren, Witten, Allie Kate Matthews, Gracie, Maddie King, Lane Foster, William and Henry Murry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Vernon (9071 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
