With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Robertson of Vernon, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erbie D. Robertson and Helen Marie Crawford Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Gina Benton Robertson of Vernon, AL; his daughter Rhonda Rene Derst (Jason) of Rincon, GA; his stepchildren, Bridget Matthews (Michael) of Vernon, AL and Scott King (Cynthia) of Vernon, AL.; his brother Johnny Robertson (Kathryn) of Vestavia Hills, AL.; his sister-in-law Jennifer Pennington (Keith) of Vernon, AL.; his grandchild Jaylee Derst; and his stepgrandchildren, Witten Matthews, Allie Kate Matthews, Gracie King and Maddie King.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (9071 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
