He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Hattaway and Mildred Hattaway (Bennet); his grandson Jacob Perkins; and his daughter-in-law Amber Hattaway. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hattaway; his children, Stacey Perkins (Tony), Jeffery Hattaway (Michelle) and Jason Hattaway (Emily); his grandchildren, Justin Perkins (Courtney), Dalton, Houston Avent, Olivia, Annslee Hattaway, Presley Hattaway, Andrew (Caroline) and Dylan Hankins; his great grandchildren, Lawson, Bryleigh Tatum, Layla Kate Perkins, Emerson and Everly Avent; and his brothers, Banks Hattaway (Starcia) and Terrell Hattaway.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Vernon (9071 AL-18, Vernon, AL 35592). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
