He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Pless and Hattie Huffman Pless; his wife Patricia Pless; his siblings, Clifford Williams, Elmer Sanford, Hugh J. Pless, Bobby Joe Pless and Julie Pless Edwards Easterwood; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Suttles.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Pless of Vernon, AL and Tim Pless (Beth) of Caledonia, MS; his granddaughter Brittany Lewis (Chris) of Vernon, AL; his great grandchildren, Cali and Remi Lewis; and his siblings-in-law, Lynda Pless of Flag Pond, TN and Gary Suttles of Canton, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
