She was predeceased by: her parents, Nana Gill Christian and John Robert Christian; her sister Susan Gill Christian; her niece Elizabeth Apicella Sims; and her nephew John R. Christian III.

She is survived by: her husband Eric Grafton McGee, Jr.; her children, William Grafton McGee, Kyle Robert McGee (Morgan) and Caroline Christian Hawk (Burnham); her grandchildren, Grafton Scott Hawk, Burnham "Burns" Scott Hawk, Jr. and James Hayward McGee; her siblings, John Robert Christian, Jr. (Meg) and Nancy Christian Stein (David); her daughter Jennifer Apicella; and her cousin Sarah.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Weimaraner Rescue of the South or to Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.
