He is survived by: his children, April Grimes of Vincent, Bret Grimes of Birmingham, Clara Collum of Jasper and Kristi Grimes of Guntersville; his grandchildren, Hannah, Colby, Kynlee, Ryder "Herm" and Avery; and his siblings, Shannon Coggins (Keith) of Shelby and Jamie Grimes (JoAnn) of Columbiana.
