He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Chandler and Lillie Gertrude Chandler (Hancock) of Cullman; his former wife Lois Carolyn Chandler (Hutson); his daughter Tammy Renae Chandler; and his siblings, Jimmy Ray Chandler, Billy Gene Chandler, Darrel Wayne Chandler and Carolyn Francis Carden.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Chandler (Bynum); his daughter Laura Marie Burgess (Chandler); his son-in-law Keadrick Burgess; his grandsons, Kaden Allen Burgess, Noah Ray Burgess and Rivers Grayson Burgess; and his sister Hilda Thompson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at the Flint Creek Cemetery (3048 Co Rd 1354, Vinemont, AL 35179).
