He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Melton and Pauline Melton; his daughters, Kelly Willenberg (Dale) of Greenville, SC and Jama Gay (Darrell) of Vinemont, AL.; his grandchildren, Brandy Troisi (Christopher) of Spartanburg, SC, Mariel Norton (Duncan) of Columbia, SC, Leah Harris (Cody) of Vinemont, AL and Cordale Gay (Amber) of Vinemont, AL.; his nieces and nephews, Johnna Barnard, Michelle Newton, David Clendenin, Brian Waugh of Todd Waugh, JB Achenbach and Amy Achenbach; Jonathan Ryan, Shannon Lee and Blake Mann.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Steve Rodgers and Bro. Phillip Robinson (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055).
