She was predeceased by: her husband William Houston Scott; her former husband Frank J. Hill; her son Marvin "Sambo"; her daughter-in-law Jane Scott; and her granddaughter Julie Scott.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Scott Merrifield; her niece Sue Burns; her grandchildren, Donna Scott Collins (Vince), Jill Scott, Sally Scott, Katie Kendrick, Kristen Green (Phillip) and Tony Merrifield (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Taylor Averhart (Zac), Harrison Collins, Gavin Kendrick, Kaymen Kendrick, Alice Le, Anna Le, Emma Smith, Nathan Smith, Karis Green, Lindlee Green and Aiden Merrifield; and her great great grandchild Campbell Averhart. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephew, and other extended family and friends.
