He is survived by: his wife Rita Goodwin; his daughters, Chelsea Goodwin and Jamilee Padgett (Gary); his stepsons, Nathan Jenkins (Kristina) and Dewayne Jenkins (Nicole); his grandchildren, Caleigh, Ryleigh Goodwin, Brooklyn Chadwick, Johnathan, Allie, Ameila Jenkins, Alexis Johnson, Jordan, Jaci, Josh and Jamison Padgett; and his siblings, Cindy Savage (Wayne), Kerry Goodwin (Melinda) and Chris Goodwin (Cinnamon).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Love's Crossing Church of God (10721 Love Ave, Trafford, AL 35172). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
