She is survived by: her mother Anna Van Mathews; her daughter Cassie Gunter Smith (David); her grandchildren, Devyn (Ashley), Raven, Jazmine, Destiny and Trey; and her great grandchildren, Alaya and Hazel.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
