He was predeceased by: his parents, Mable Jones Holmes and James Ward Holmes; and his son Scott Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Head Holmes; his sons, Jeff Harris (Kathy) and Jay Holmes; his grandsons, Jonathan Harris and Jordan Harris; and his nephews, Kelly Holmes, Andy Holmes, Robby Head and Micah Head.
