She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus P. Lang and Gracie L Harden Lang; and her husband Willard Gilbert. She is survived by: her daughter Melonie Gilbert Booth (John Booth); her grandchildren, Britney Truitt Heerten (Jonathan Heerten) and Tyler Eric Truitt (Soraya Hamar); her stepgranddaughters, Amanda Headley (Jacob Headley) and Brittany Jones (Heath Jones); Luke, Drake Headley and Jenson Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
