We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2023, at the age of 57, Jimmy A. Childers of Warrior, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his stepfather Kenneth Summerford; and his grandparents, Lillian and Gordon Smothers. He is survived by : his mother Diana Summerford; his daughter Chelsey (Faith); his siblings, Stacey Armstrong (Craig) and Bart Summerford (Greg); his nephews, Chase (Candace), Jacob (Nicole) and Jordon Armstrong; his aunt Kathy Smothers; his uncle Larry Smothers; and his father Charles Childers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Animal Adoption Center of Blount County (5241 Co. Rd. 1, Cleveland, AL, or Kairos Prison Ministry P. O. Box 2039, Madison, AL 35758).
