She was predeceased by: her husband Sonney; her parents, Gloy Reid and Mauddean Reid; and her brothers, Mitchell and JC.
She is survived by: her sons, Heath Calvert (Tracy) of Mount Olive and Hugh Calvert (Aimee) of Brentwood, TN; and her grandchildren, Reid Calvert, Kristen Calvert, Katie Calvert, Faythe Calvert and Kenzie Calvert.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joyce's honor to either New Bethel Baptist Church or the Cane Creek Food Bank, two organizations that were near to her heart.
