He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Anderson Carter and Lorenzo Anderson; and his brothers, Don Anderson and Eddie Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Shirley Anderson; his sons, Larry Anderson (Elise), Stephen Anderson (Melissa) and David Anderson (Darnell); his grandchildren, Britney Crocker (Nick), Chance Anderson, Bailey Anderson, Cheyanne Myers (Tristan), Kinsley Anderson, Haley Jennings (Hunter), Savannah Anderson and Cody Daniel; his great grandchildren, Easton, Ayla, Oaklynn, Valley, Dalton and Jonesen Dow; his brother George Anderson (Lavonda); and his sister-in-law Faye Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Interstitial Lung Disease Program at UAB.
