He was predeceased by: his parents, O. Z. Cooper and Helen Jean Jennings; his wife Barbara Cooper; and his son Mike Cooper. He is survived by: his daughter Christie Wrenn (Eric); his grandchildren, Casey Fielder (Nathan), Hunter Wrenn (Marissa) and Izzy Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Presley and Lane. He is also survived by many other family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
