He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Owens and Lorene Davis; his stepfather Bo Davis; and his brother William Owens. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Owens; his children, Joshua Owens, Randy Bainbridge, Amanda Owens and Christy Smith; and his siblings, Teresa Van Horn (Mickey), Cathy Cummings, Shelia Treese (Roger) and James Owens. He is also survived by 10 grand children, 2 great grand children, and a host of family and friends.
