He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Hayes, Sr. and Frances C. Hayes; and his brother-in-law Joseph G. Ballard. He is survived by: his son Nicholas Josh Hayes; his sister Vickie L. Ferguson (Wally); his niece MaireJo Padgett (Matt); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison, Joseph and Opal Padgett; and his close friend Tucker. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home (225 Dana Rd, Warrior, AL 35180). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
