He is survived by: his former wife Leila Mayfield Layne; his children, Terry Jr. (Diana Kimbrough), Deborah (John Elliott) and Dawn Augustine; his grandson Nicholas Layne Elliott (Shella); and his nieces and nephews, Christie Mayfield, Melonie Kidd, Steven Mayfield (Mayu) and Ashley Glover (David).
