It is with sadness that the passing of William Odell Ashe (Warrior, Alabama) is shared. William, born on November 3, 1938, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though William is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. William’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Ashe and Jewel Francis; and his daughter Amy Ashe. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ashe; and his children, Bethany Ashe, Christi Gast (Aaron), David Ashe and Jeremiah Ashe. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gloryland Baptist Church (1829 Circlewood Dr, Birmingham, AL 35214). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
