She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Thomas Bennett, Jr.; her brothers, Willard Holcombe (Delsie), James L. Holcombe (Fannie) and Arnold Holcombe (Patsy); and her sister-in-law Elaine Holcombe.
She is survived by: her brothers, Cletus Holcombe (Faye), Edwin Holcombe and Leonard Holcombe (Ganelle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Chapel Presbyterian Church (6445 Co Rd 1, Waterloo, AL 35677). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Williams Chapel Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund of Waterloo, Alabama.
