It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Hairell Jr. of Waterloo, Alabama, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hairell and Beulah Hairell; his son Keith Hairell; his sisters, Ayleen Johnston, Kathleen Belcher and Gwenda Filchak; his nephew Sonny Johnston; and his niece Kathy Hambrick.
He is survived by: his son Kris Hairell; his grandchildren, William Hairell, Florence and Preston Hairell (Anne Catherine); and his great grandchild William Thomas Akers Hairell.
