She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Wells; her siblings, Merle Phillips, James Phillips and Wanda Bowles; and her parents, James Henry Philips and Effie Belle Williams Philips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Dotherow of Winter Park, FL and LeAnne Andrews of Weaver; and her grandchildren, Amy Haynes (Randy), Moyel Andrews (Trey), Allison Freckman and Chris Abbott. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (322 Nisbet St NW, Jacksonville, AL 36265).
