He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Troy Vickers and Trudie Mae Vickers; and his siblings, Virginia Timmerman and Halton Vickers. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, David H. Vickers (Metha), Michael D. Vickers (Karen), Barbara Smith (Richard) and Alan Vickers; and his sister Jenelle Black. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Anniston Memorial Funeral Home (3865 US-431, Anniston, AL 36206). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
