He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Goodson and Beatrice Floyd Goodson; and his brother Mitch Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Trammell Goodson; his children, Nicole Goodson (Carlos Orozco) and Rex Goodson (Kayla Jones); his sister Lisa Marshall (Jack); his siblings-in-law, Diane, Roy Ard, Cathy Trawick, Pam, Garry Trawick, Danny and Tressie Trammell; his aunt Evelyn Barfield-Davis; his niece Brooke Ward (Dustin); and his nephew Blake Smith (Ashley).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holman-Headland Mortuary (305 Main St, Headland, AL 36345). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gardens Of Memory (6200 US-431, Headland, AL 36345).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smyrna Baptist Church, 1800 Huskey Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
