He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Lee and Lillie McDearis Gann; his sisters, Sandra Gann and Vivian L. Gann; and also Elmer Lee Gann, Jr. (Moe).

He is survived by : his sisters, Geraldine Edwards of Wedowee, Alice Knight of Douglasville, GA and Patricia Kelly of Woodland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
