He is survived by: his brother Joey Fields (Sharon) of Wedowee; his nephews, Cody Nelson (Courtney) and Shane Nelson (Leslie); and his aunt Rachel Richardson. He is also survived by two great-nieces; two great-nephews; and multiple cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Rocky Branch Baptist Church Cemetery (11984 Co Rd 59, Wedowee, AL 36278).
