She was predeceased by : her parents, Warner Hurley and Eura Wright Hurley; her husband Joe Hollaway; her son Russell Holloway; and her sisters, Lillian Hurley Hallmark, Dorothy Hurley Alewine and Lila Hurley Holloway.

She is survived by : her daughter Sandra Hollaway; her daughter-in-law Melissa Shelley Holloway of Pelham; her grandchildren, David Holloway (Emily) and Amanda Holloway Carlisle (John); and her great grandchildren, William Russell Holloway and Wyatt Oneal Holloway. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt Grove Baptist Church (24 Co Rd 4804, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mt Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (24 Co Rd 4804, Wedowee, AL 36278).
