He was predeceased by : his parents, Tom Bolden and Cecil Marie Sellers Stanley; and his siblings, Mary Beth Riner and Tommy Dale Stanley. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Helen Rice Stanley of Wedowee; his children, Cindy Jenkins (Robert) of Huntsville, Keith Stanley (Babs) of Madison, Tim Stanley (Christina) of Acworth, GA and Todd Stanley (Kerri) of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Michael Speigle (Tara), Mindy Casey (Steven), Daniel Stanley, Madison Ann Stanley, Bailey Karamuca (Ronald), Sarah Stanley, Gavin Stanley and Ty Stanley; his great grandchildren, Hudson Speigle, Owen Speigle, Austin Speigle, Savannah Casey and Madilyn Casey; his sister Ganelle Stanley Roberts (Fred) of Mt. Pleasant, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Jill Stanley of Alabaster, AL and Jack Riner of Bluffton, SC..

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278).
