He is survived by: his wife Judy Wortham Thompson of Decatur; his daughters, Michelle Wallace of Decatur and Jessica Tidwell (Daniel Smith) of Roanoke, AL; his grandchildren, Sandi Taylor of Decatur and Tanner Tidwell of Roanoke; his siblings, Mike Thompson (Sandie Pierce), Gordon Thomspon (Cindy) and Mary Fay (Mick); and his sister-in-law Debra Thompson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
