She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Sprinkle; her grandson Lance Chastain; her great grandchild Tori Nicholson; her sister Patti Hill; and her son-in-law Anthony Haney.

She is survived by: her children, Harold "Mud" Chastain, Jr. (Frances), Carole Sams (Danial), Debra Haney and Melanie Sams; her brother Fred Gurley; and her great grandchildren, Jason Haney, Justin Hill, Clint Chastain, Ethan Turner, Karson Faulkner, Knox Faulkner, Kelan Faulkner and Clark Hill. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
