He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Taylor and Evelyn Taylor; and his siblings, Linda Carolyn Taylor, Lenita Jean Taylor and Keith Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Phylis Taylor; his sons, Joseph Lee Taylor (Laura), Jon Randell Taylor (Susie) and Jeffrey Lamont Taylor (Terri); his grandchildren, Jackson Taylor, Alex Taylor, Isabella Taylor, Gabrielle Taylor and Jesse Taylor; and his brothers, Morris Taylor (Judy) and Johnny Taylor (Susan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
