She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Joanne Lily (Dan), Barry Arrick (Ruthie), James Arrick (Christina), Tonya Arrick and Cheryl Goode (Barry, Sr.); her sons, Franklin Delano Johnson, Jr. (Sharon) of Birmingham and Joseph Cartrell Johnson of West Blocton, Alabama; her grandchildren, Pamela Ronnell Johnson-Hunter (Thad) of Birmingham, Alabama, Brittani Shanay Johnson-Hernandez (David), Jordan Alexander Johnson, Carrington Laci Hunter and Lexxington Kaci Hunter; her siblings, Mae W. Richardson of West Blocton, Alabama and John W. Hill, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her brother-in-law Marvin Johnson (Carmen) of San Antonio, Texas; and her godmother Willie Dean Wyatt (Kaitlyn Parrish) of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by numerous Godsons, Goddaughters, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Smith & Gaston Funeral Services (102 6th Ave SW, Birmingham, AL 35211). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at 4824 Vernon Town Rd, West Blocton, AL 35184. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
