He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike William Nelson and Barbara Jean Meacham Spann. He is survived by: his children, Justin Keith Nelson and Mary Elizabeth Nelson (Joshua Ando); his grandchild Madalynn Elise Henderson; and his sister Kellie Jean Nelson (Peggy Ann Montalbano).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home (4780 Letson Farms Pkwy, McCalla, AL 35111). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
