With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta Virginia Holmes of Wetumpka, Alabama, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Herman "Cotton" Brophy. She is survived by: her husband Bill Holmes; her children, Kaye Tyler (Mark), Jimmy Varner (Cathy), Susan Willard (Kenny), Becky Garrigan (Mike) and Beth Ann Young (Keith); her cousin Susan Moore (Norm); and her grandchildren, Anna Goldman (Bryan), Laura Patterson (Matt), David Tyler, Colleen Lovingood (Trammell), William Ray, Sara Jane Garrigan, Stephanie Willard, Brittney Ziemba and Garret Guthrie (Alexis). She is also survived by her 6 great-grandchildren.
