He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dykes and Virginia Phillips Dykes; his brother James Dykes; and his wife Martha Leeper Dykes. He is survived by: his daughters, Cherie Dykes Ratcliff (Jeff) of Ooletewah, TN and Teri Dykes Thompson (David) of Wetumpka, AL.; his grandchildren, Wendie Miller (Alex), Wes McAllister (Kelly) and William Thompson (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie McAllister, Macie McAllister and Lydia Miller.
